Eyelid Eczema

Eyelid eczema is an eczema skin symptom that is somewhat unusual. It's just like any typical eczema type, but it appears on the eyelids of the sufferer. I have suffered from this eczema type a lot myself, and it's no fun.

The overall symptoms of eye eczema are red, irritated skin around the eyes, and often a oozing rash on one or both eyelids. Even if this eczema type is not all that common, eye eczema will often burn, and can be very troublesome to deal with.

It goes without saying that eyelid eczema symptom is very visually unpleasant, and that it might cause discomfort and insecurity in people suffering from it. And just like with most types of eczema, with eyelid eczema, it is very hard to keep from scratching.

In my experience "eye eczema" is one of the most unpleasant types of eczema. If you have eczema on the eyelids, it's very hard to ignore. It might get worse over time, but at least it did not effect my eyesight in any way.

Eyelid eczema, just like all the other eczema types, has no real cure in the world of medical doctors and traditional medicine. This is because the medical doctors don't address the real underlying root cause of the problem.

When I was cured from all my eczema in less than 3 months, it was the eczema on the eyelids that disappeared first.

The skin is extremely thin and vulnerable on the eyelids. I would be cautious to apply even light steroid creams to eczema eyelids (eye eczema). Of course, it's 100% up to yourself if you wish to use these harmful chemicals, or not. Treating the root cause is always the best.

I must confess that I felt very uncomfortable using steroid creams on the eczema on my eyelid. If that's the case with you too, it's better to throw away the steroid creams, and start treating the real underlying problem. This website is here to help you with that.

It doesn't matter if you have eczema on one eyelid, or both eyelids. The root cause is what you should focus on.

The eyelids are very fragile, and in my experience the steroid cream will not help there at all. You should think long and hard about whether you really want to use steroid creams on this delicate area (especially with children).

Eyelid eczema has the same root cause as the rest of your eczema symptoms.
